PRESERVING THE enjoyment of the game
The Markham Soccer Club adheres to the principles of Long Term Player Development (LTPD) as prescribed by our governing body, Ontario Soccer. Improvements in the game for players from U4 to U12, in particular are being implemented to preserve the enjoyment of the game through age-appropriate development.
GRASSROOTS SOCCER
Grassroots soccer involves players from U4-U12 with specific resources available to players, parents and coaches. Ontario Soccer has a particular section for Grassroots soccer at the link below.
GRASSROOTS practices for coaches
Ontario Soccer will provide practices for coaches to use to help make the game enjoyable for players U4-U12. Check back for more practice plans
These practices are the property of Ontario Soccer. Whether you're from Ontario or not, we welcome any and all clubs to use them. We only ask that you do not remove the Ontario Soccer branding from the practices, nor add any additional branding without express consent.
